WHAT IS NDH?
The Northern Dye House is a no-nonsense hand dyed clothing company based in the heart of North West England. We design and create beautiful hand dyed, unisex streetware for everyone. We also offer a wholesale and business merch options, from small batch dyes to merchandising.
Each garment is individually hand dyed, using responsibly sourced materials from manufacturers who put people and our beautiful planet above profits. We make unique clothing for both adults, children and babies and also have a range of accessories.
All of our own brand clothing is WRAP certified and sourced from sustainable and Fair labour Certified manufacturers. All of our dyes are vegan and non toxic because harming our beautiful planet and its animals isn't our thing!
Our Story
During the miserable COVID lockdowns of 2021, we began making t-shirts for our friends and family as a way to spread some love and colour during those miserable times.
We soon began trading at local craft fairs and markets in and around the Lancaster area and THE NORTHERN DYE HOUSE WAS BORN!
After a successful three years trading at festivals and events across the North West we thought it was time to put down some roots and opened our first store in our home town of Lancaster. Our store is home to our own brand 'NDH' hand dyed clothing and we also stock an eclectic mix of 90's inspired accessories and officially licensed band T's. It's also home to our awesome little mascot- Original 90's Trolls!
