Welcome to The Northern Dyehouse, your go-to for hand-dyed, unisex streetwear that’s as bold as you are. Based in the heart of the North West, we design and create one-of-a-kind pieces for adults, kids, and even tiny humans (yes, we mean babies).
Every garment is hand-dyed by us, using vegan, non-toxic dyes and sustainably sourced materials from manufacturers who give a damn about the planet, the people, and ethical production.
Whether you're looking for your new favourite hoodie or want to bulk order custom pieces for your business, we've got you. From small batch dyes to logo printing, we offer flexible wholesale and business options too.
All our own-brand clothing is WRAP Certified, made by manufacturers committed to fair labour and sustainability, because harming the planet and its animals just isn’t our vibe.
Our Story
Born out of lockdown madness and a serious need for colour, Northern Dyehouse began in 2021 as a lovefuelled side project, making hand-dyed tees for mates to brighten up the darkest days.
What started as a way to spread joy turned into a whirlwind of market stalls, festival pitches, and more dye-stained fingers than we can count.
After three wild and wonderful years, we set up shop in our hometown of Lancaster with our first-ever concept store.
Now, NDH is home to our signature hand-dyed pieces, plus a banging collection of 90s-inspired bits, band tees, and our unofficial mascot: a crew of original 90s trolls.
Meet The DREAM Team
The brains and brilliance behind the brand, Rach is the human splash of colour that started it all. She's the tie-dye queen, creative whirlwind, and the one most likely to be covered in ink (and glitter).
The calm in the chaos, Helen keeps things running smoothly while rocking festival glitter like an actual boss. She's the glue, the giggles, and the reason your order is actually on time.
